About me
I became a therapist as a response to seeing the power of the therapeutic relationship work with loved ones and my own experiences personally navigating mental health.
I was inspired by seeing these processes actually work in my own life and wanted to help others do the same.
I am personally motivated by the human spirit I get to witness with my clients as they step out of their suffering and into lives of meaning.
I have worked in mental health for 10 years in various roles, supporting the Phoenix homeless population, helping college students achieve their goals, sitting bedside with oncology patients, raising young teens with autism, and helping chronically traumatized individuals break cycles of shame and abuse.
I also currently serve as a leading board member of the Arizona Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, a non-profit aiming to educate therapists and the public about mental-wellbeing.
